WHAT THE TX-3 CONTROLS ACTUALLY DO
WITH
LIVE STEAM LOCOS.
The DIRECTION knob controls valve gear with a twist either way.  Infinitely adjustable*.
The THROTTLE knob operates the steam regulator with 300º Digital Proportional (DP) control of the servo which controls the locomotive speed. This gives more than 3 x times the precision of speed control when compared to "CENTRE OFF" throttle stick DP Radios.
The BIND pushbutton doubles as a Channel # 5 function for added mechanical controls such as a steam whistle and possibly uncoupling.
The F2 & F4 pushbuttons will each move a servo from mid point to a low position and snap back to mid point.

*N.B. THE TX-3 DOES NOT HAVE SERVO REVERSING OR SERVO TRIM ADJUSTMENT.
The in IN-LINE "SIG-REV" is a simple way of servo reve
rsing or use # Rx102-1(AB)LR.

WHAT THE TX-3 CONTROLS ACTUALLY DO WITH
"CENTRE OFF" CONTROL BATTERY R/C LOCOS.
The DIRECTION knob is not used for setting the direction for "CENTRE OFF" ESC's.
The knob can trigger two accessory switch functions or control another ESC..
The large THROTTLE knob operates "CENTRE OFF" with 150º either side of neutral for Digital Proportional (DP) control of the locomotive speed.
The BIND pushbutton doubles as a Channel # 5 function for added mechanical controls such as uncoupling or can trigger a sound system with optional extra parts.
The F2 & F4 pushbuttons will each trigger a sound system effect using the correct RX/ESC.

WHAT THE TX-3 CONTROLS ACTUALLY DO WITH
"LOW OFF" CONTROL BATTERY R/C LOCOS.
The small DIRECTION knob sets the direction for "LOW OFF" ESC's with a twist either way.
The THROTTLE knob has a centre "CLICK" which makes it ideal for both "CENTRE OFF" ESC's and with "LOW OFF" ESC's
The BIND pushbutton doubles as a Channel # 5 function for added mechanical controls such as uncoupling or can trigger a sound system with optional extra parts.
The F2 & F4 pushbuttons will each trigger a sound system effect using the correct RX/ESC.
