What do I need
THIS IS A PAGE LISTING PARTS WE RECOMMEND TO FIT TO VARIOUS BRANDS & TYPES OF LOCOS.
As well as the ESC most battery R/C installations will also require batteries, a fuse, an on off switch and a method of charging the batteries from outside the loco.

BATTERIES  For Australian customers we can supply a selection of different batteries. See HERE .
If you are using regular NiCd or NiMh batteries fitted with standard TAMIYA type connectors we have a  # Y-CABLE to simply connect two packs in series for double the voltage.
(N.B.) RCS cannot usually supply batteries to overseas customers as they are heavy and expensive to post).

FUSE/SWITCH & CHARGE JACK  RCS assumes most installations will use batteries fitted on board and charged from outside the loco/trail car.  As such we have a selection of installation kits for different situations.  These all have a charge jack built in, along with auto reset Polyswitch fuses and an ON - OFF switch.  The charge jack also doubles as a port for plugging in external batteries to increase run times.
The kits recommended are not mandatory, but, they sure do make life easy.

Rewiring lights on some locos can be quite difficult.  In which case we recommend fitting a # RELAY-1v3 to simplify wiring lights and smoke.
